We have a 2007 Nissan Murano with just over 120,000 miles. We bought it when it was just two years used and it had 30,000 miles. I was wondering when should we replace the transmission fluid? I know that it has CVT transmission and its different from a normal automatic transmission. Any info would be great, also does anyone know how dependable this kind of transmission is??? I was hoping the car would make it to 200,000 miles with out any major problems.. Crossing my fingers
Nissan doubled the warranty for these CVT models to 10 years/120,000 miles (looks like your just out of it) because of the problems and cost to fix these…sorry to say. I recently had an 09 Rogue with 80k that I had to get the trans. replaced on, and it was done under warranty. I would go get your murano checked out, and have a transmission service done.
